Tropicana Golf & Country Resort is a 27-hole Graham Marsh designed course with a reputation for being one of the best golf courses in Malaysia. The resort is conveniently located just 8 kilometers outside Kuala Lumpur city center, making it a popular inclusion in the itineraries of many visiting golfers.
Available for play are an 18-hole course (West Course) and a 9-hole golf course (East Course). The West Course is playable at night, due to the use of high-tech, non-glare lighting. Both courses are built to USGA specifications and incorporate strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. Excellent on course drainage ensures that the course is quickly playable, even straight after typically heavy rains during the wet season.
Noteworthy holes include the par-4, first and the par-3 third, both of which feature a series of water cascades. The best is saved till last on the back nine with the par-5, eighteenth which plays to a long multi-tiered green that is protected at the front with deep grass swale.
